Shaped by the field and driven by curiosity.
I work at the intersection of economics, data and institutional strategy, helping organizations turn complex problems into decisions they can act on.
I'm Joe Douilly, a business development professional and project manager with a particular interest in economic intelligence and in how organizations turn information into better decisions.
My career has led me to work across business development, project design and implementation, data analysis and institutional support. While these experiences span different areas, they are connected by the same curiosity: understanding how organizations work, how economies evolve, what data can reveal and how ideas can be translated into practical solutions.
That curiosity continues to shape the way I approach my work. It leads me to draw from economics, public policy, technology and data to understand problems more fully and develop responses that are both practical and informed.
One career, three levels of the same problem.
Making data usable, explaining the incentives underneath, and building the institutions that keep good decisions going.
Data systems, dashboards and quality assurance supporting a national network of community partners, turning fragmented records into information the organization can act on.
A Haitian research and consulting firm created to help institutions make better-informed decisions through studies, technical assistance, analytics and institutional support.
Experience gained with international development organizations, public institutions and consulting firms in Haiti, including CARE, CRS, MEDA, AIDE and MAX Consulting.
